Can you deliver a dumpster today?

In many cases, yes, we can deliver a dumpster to you on the same day. Please contact us at 201-566-7719 We will do our best to deliver a dumpster to you today. If we can’t deliver a dumpster to you today, we will be able to deliver to you tomorrow.

What dumpster sizes does Bin-Drop offer?

Bin-Drop Dumpster Rental offers 10-yard, 15-yard, and 20-yard compact dumpsters. All of our dumpsters are designed to fit into narrow spaces and take up the approximate footprint of a minivan.

Our dumpster sizes are:

  • 10-yard dumpster – 8ft width, 12ft length, 5.5ft height
  • 15-yard dumpster – 8ft width, 12ft length, 5.5ft height
  • 20-yard dumpster – 8ft width, 16ft length, 5ft height
Will the dumpster fit in my driveway?

Bin-Drop’s standard dumpster is 15-yards (12 feet in length) and have approximately footprint of a minivan. Most driveways are at least 10 feet wide, providing plenty of room for the bin.

Our dumpster sizes are:

  • 10-yard dumpster – 8ft width, 12ft length, 5.5ft height
  • 15-yard dumpster – 8ft width, 12ft length, 5.5ft height
  • 20-yard dumpster – 8ft width, 16ft length, 5ft height
Can I place the dumpster on any surface?

Bin-Drop dumpsters must be placed on flat, hard surfaces, such as a driveway. We are unable to place dumpsters on slopes, city streets*, soft ground, or property that does not belong to you.

*You must have a permit or written permission from the city for us to place the dumpster on the street.

Will a Bin-Drop dumpster cause damage to my driveway?

We place planks under the wheels and the front of the dumpster so that it sits on wood and not directly on the pavement. In most cases, no damage is done to the driveway.

What “other” dumpster rental fees should I be aware of?

At Bin-Drop Dumpster Rental, we are proud to provide transparent pricing to all of our customers. Pricing consists of the following:

  • Extra tonnage (overweight) – when renting a dumpster, there is a “limit” per ton per container. If the container is over the tonnage, there will be an overweight fee applied once the dumpster is removed.
  • Fuel surcharges – if we are unable to pick-up a dumpster because it is inaccessible at the time of pick-up, we will apply a fuel surcharge to your final bill
  • Additional days – standard dumpster rentals are for ten days. However, if you need your rental for longer, there is a $10.00 per day additional charge.
  • Hook requests – if you need your dumpster repositioned after the initial delivery, there will be a charge to reposition the unit.
  • Sorting – if the dumpster is overfilled above the top rail of the unit, there will be a fee applied to your final bill for sorting and repositioning of items to bring the debris to the proper level

Banned materials – there will be a banned materials fee if prohibited items are placed in the dumpster

How much notice does a dumpster company need to pick up my dumpster?

We ask our valued customers to provide us with 24-hours-notice for a dumpster pick-up. However, in some cases we are able to pick up dumpsters sooner. If you would like your dumpster picked up sooner than planned, please contact us at 201-566-7719

After you have had your dumpster for ten days, we will NOT come to pick it up unless we have been otherwise instructed by you.

How does the pickup process work?

We can either pre-schedule a dumpster pick-up, or when you’re done with your rental, contact us at 201-566-7719 or email us at [email protected], to schedule your pickup.

You do not need to be home when we come to pick up your dumpster rental. Simply ensure that the dumpster is a level load (weight distributed evenly throughout the dumpster), with no items sticking out of the top of the bin. Please also ensure that there are no obstructions to block our access to the dumpster.

What materials can I NOT put in the dumpster?

Please do not place these items in your Bin-Drop dumpster rental.

  • Rock
  • Bricks
  • Soil
  • Concrete
  • Hazardous Material including batteries, aerosols, lighters, corrosives, dry ice, explosives, gases, flammable liquids, genetically modified organisms and micro-organisms, inflatable life saving devices, oxidizing substances, organic peroxide, patient specimens, radioactive materials, and toxic substances
  • Asbestos
  • Tires
  • Liquids (paint, fuel etc.)

Do dumpster rentals have a weight limit?

We have an all-in structure, with given allotted weight allowances per dumpster size.

  • 10-Yard dumpster – 1-ton limit
  • 15-Yard dumpster – 2-ton limit
  • 20-Yard dumpster – 2.5-ton limit

Anything over the limit of tonnage is charged at $115 per ton (pro rata).

How long can I keep my dumpster rental?

We usually charge on a 10-day basis (weekends included in days). But if you need it longer, just let us know! After your 10-day rental, we charge a per day fee of $10.00.

Do you deliver dumpsters to my area?

At Bin-Drop Dumpster Rental, we are proud to serve customers in the following counties in New Jersey:

-Bergen County – Passaic County – Morris County – Essex County – Hudson County – Morristown County – Summit County – Somerset County – Middlesex County

When do I need to pay for my dumpster rental?

Payment is taken upon ordering a dumpster. Additional charges are paid after the dumpster has been removed (i.e., tonnage, over rental days, banned materials, etc.)

Can I share my dumpster rental with my neighbors?

Absolutely, yes. As long as you keep your weight within the limits and do not dispose of any prohibited materials, you can share your dumpster with anyone you like.

Where do you take the dumpster after I am done using it?

The dumpster is taken to a local area disposal station.
